Toyota's 2025 Sienna: A Safer, More Luxurious Ride for Families on the Go

Toyota's 2025 Sienna: A Safer, More Luxurious Ride for Families on the Go

Toyota has announced big updates to its 2025 Sienna minivan, introducing a new top-tier Platinum grade and pioneering safety technology. The refreshed model brings enhanced entertainment systems, stylish design elements, and practical interior improvements to the popular family vehicle.

Advanced Safety Takes Centre Stage

The 2025 Sienna marks the global debut of Toyota's Advanced Rear Seat Reminder system. This innovative technology uses high-resolution millimeter-wave radar to detect movement in the rear seats, even in low-light conditions or under blankets. If movement is sensed after the vehicle is turned off and locked, the system initiates a series of alerts, including visual and audio warnings, smartphone notifications, and potentially automated calls. This feature aims to prevent accidental child or pet endangerment and will be active for up to 10 years or through the life of 4G connectivity.

Platinum Grade Elevates Luxury and Convenience

The newly introduced Platinum grade offers premium features, including a 10-inch colour Head-Up Display, distinctive two-tone 18-inch wheels, and convenient additions like an integrated vacuum and FridgeBox. These practical amenities cater to families on the go, providing easy access to chilled refreshments and effortless clean-up solutions.

Tech-Forward Interior Updates

All 2025 Sienna models now come standard with Toyota's latest Multimedia system, featuring an 8-inch touchscreen on the LE grade and an expansive 12.3-inch touchscreen on higher trims. The XSE, Limited, and Platinum grades also receive a customizable 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Entertainment options are further enhanced with an available 12-speaker JBL Premium Audio system.

Refreshed Design and Comfort

Interior styling has been updated across all grades, with new seat designs, materials, and colour combinations. The centre console receives grade-specific finishes, ranging from woodgrain in the Platinum and Limited to gloss black in the XSE. Exterior updates include new wheel designs and colour options, with the sporty XSE grade featuring darkened trim elements.

Efficient Hybrid Performance and Comprehensive Safety Suite

The 2025 Sienna continues to offer Toyota's proven hybrid powertrain exclusively, delivering 245 total system horsepower and impressive fuel efficiency. Front-wheel drive models are estimated to achieve 6.6 L/100 km combined, while all-wheel drive variants are rated at 6.7 L/100 km. The Electronic On-Demand All Wheel Drive system provides enhanced traction and handling without significantly impacting fuel economy.

In addition to the new Advanced Rear Seat Reminder, all 2025 Sienna models come equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, a suite of active safety features including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist.

The 2025 Toyota Sienna is expected to arrive at dealerships in the coming months, with pricing details to be announced closer to the launch date.
